Where Our Graduates are Headed
May 21st, 2026
Last week, at our Commendations and Commissioning Service, our community gathered in a spirit of gratitude to pray over our graduating seniors as they marked the milestone of their final day of classes and turned their focus toward the meaningful work of their senior projects. It was a moment rich with reflection and celebration, honoring how far they have come and the journeys that lie ahead.
We look forward to continuing this season of celebration through our upcoming commencement festivities, where we will formally recognize and send forth these remarkable students. Today, we are delighted to share with the Pacifica community the good news of our seniors’ college decisions, a testament to their hard work and perseverance.
The Class of 2026 demonstrated extraordinary dedication throughout the college application process, submitting an impressive 1,244 applications and earning admission to 287 colleges and universities spanning 41 states and 9 countries beyond the United States. These 90 students applied to 241 distinct institutions. Ninety three percent of the graduates will be attending a four-year college or university, while 7% have chosen to begin their journeys at two-year colleges or take a gap year. Forty seven percent of the graduates have chosen to attend college outside of California. Additionally, 18 seniors have been recruited to compete in collegiate athletics, an achievement that speaks to their dedication both in the classroom and in their respective sports.
Each student’s journey is distinct, yet all are united by the strong foundation they have built during their time at Pacifica. As we celebrate this exciting next chapter for the Class of 2026, we invite you to view our comprehensive list of college acceptances, where bolded entries indicate the institutions our graduates have chosen to attend.
