Our Story

2010 - 2015

• Initial gift of $10,000 is given to launch Pacifica
• 15th Street Campus is secured with long-term lease

2015 - 2016

• Historic launch of Pacifica with 9th and 10th grades
• Pacifica receives full 3-year accreditation from WASC

2016 - 2017

• Pacifica adds 11th grade. Enrollment nearly doubles

2017 - 2018

• Pacifica adds 12th grade Pacifica graduates inaugural sophomore class with historic Commencement Week activities and "Last Walk"
• 1499 Monrovia Avenue is purchased for $6.75 million (carrying approximately $4 million in debt)

2018 - 2019

• Pacifica introduces the Pacifica Continuum and the Pacifica Person
• Pacifica receives full 6-year accreditation from WASC

2019 - 2020

• Pacifica launches 5th school year with historic enrollment growth COVID-19 shuts down every school in the country
• Pacifica misses zero days of school during the transition to online learning

2020 - 2021

• School breaks ground on construction for Main Campus at 1499 Monrovia
• The first Triton graduates from college (in only 3 years)

2021 - 2022

• Main Campus at 1499 Monrovia is completed and students are welcomed to campus for the first time

2022 - 2023

• Pacifica welcomes its largest freshman class ever with 91 students — nearly three times the size of our founding freshman class
