Bring the Rain — A Triton Tradition. A crazy idea revolving around throwing toilet paper on a basketball court started 6 years ago has now become one of the biggest Triton Traditions! In its fifth appearance in 2023, Bring the Rain saw over 1,000 people in attendance and plenty of rolls of toilet paper thrown on the Triton's first three pointer. We love this event and the community it brings.

Grace, Truth, and Time & The Story of a Student Returning Over Time 

One of the rewards of working at Pacifica is meeting with Alumni and hearing how their time at our school has influenced their adult lives. A few of our staff recently had such an encounter when they were joyfully greeted by a former student.

Every Thanksgiving, before we gave thanks and broke bread, my father would read to us George Washington’s Thanksgiving Proclamation. As a child, I may have dismissed it with a roll of the eyes, but now, as a father myself, I realize the enduring relevance of Washington's words. As I prepare to read the proclamation to my family this year, I am aware that its invitation into gratitude resonates powerfully with me.

Pacifica continues The Great Conversation with a special viewing of a facsimile of the Great Isaiah Scroll (1QIsa), discovered at Qumran near the Dead Sea. The splendor of the scroll, including Isaiah 53, was on display and accompanied by a lecture by Kenneth Way, Professor and Chair of Old Testament and Semitics at Biola University, about this Hebrew text and its ancient witness of Jesus before His birth.

Pacifica Christian High School’s Innovation Talks invite guest speakers from all facets of life to give on campus lectures to our students. Dr. Matthew Milliner, Professor of Art History at Wheaton College, came on campus and shared a lecture entitled Resisting the Algorithms. Dr. Milliner discussed what art history and church history can reveal to us about interaction with our devices.

On September 27, the Pacifica Junior Classical League team along with other Latin 3 and 4 students went to the Getty Villa in Malibu for an evening filled with education and entertainment as they watched a special performance of the award winning 1980’s play, The Gospel at Colonus...

Join us for our 2nd Annual Triton Pickleball Tournament! Brought to you by The Triton Athletic Booster Club, the tournament will be held on October 22, 2023 from 1 - 4 PM. Proceeds from this event benefit The Triton Lab, a new facility that allows Pacifica Christian High School to increase enrollment to 385 students, includes a state-of-the-art sports performance and recovery center, and provides additional office space and parking.
