Waiting is not easy, Lord. We are often told to take control of our lives, but what does it look like to surrender that control to You? Please take our anxiety, our insecurity, and our fear. Take our exhaustion, our boredom, and our busyness. Take our plans, our talents, and our loves. Take from us what you must to make us Yours. Give us only what we need—your peace, your will, You.
