Who We Are

Shayna grew up in Santa Cruz County, California, and attended Monte Vista Christian High School. During her high school career, she played varsity volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track, serving as captain for two of those teams. Shayna went on to play for the UC Irvine Women’s Club Soccer team and served as President during her final two years. She graduated from UC Irvine in June 2025 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Informatics, specializing in Organization and Information Technology.

Since moving to Southern California, Shayna has called Rockharbor Church home and is an active leader in both their young adults ministry and the broader community. She also helps lead the Christian Surfers Huntington Beach chapter and enjoys serving the local surf community and going on mission trips.

Shayna coached the Pacifica Surf Team last year and is now excited to join the Pacifica family full-time as a Campus Supervisor and year-round assistant coach for Girls Flag Football, Surfing, and other various sports. She is eager to dive deeper into the Triton community and help students at Pacifica grow in their relationship with God as well as their athletic abilities. She feels blessed to have this opportunity to share her love for the Lord and her competitive passion with the students.

In her free time, Shayna enjoys surfing, beach volleyball, pickleball, spikeball, snowboarding, traveling, iced coffee, reading, board games, and spending time with friends and family.
