Biography

Dr. Grace Park was born in Seoul, Korea, and raised in Arizona. She and her family spent five years on the East Coast and eight years in Korea before settling in Southern California in 2017. For the past 26 years, they have been actively involved with the missionary choir World Milal in both New York and
Seoul, participating in the annual Summer Praise March across more than 20 countries, as well as in the Praise Festival at Carnegie Hall.

Dr. Park’s heart is dedicated to passing on the richness of church music—both traditional and contemporary—to the next generation of Christians in Southern California. She earned her undergraduate degree in Piano Performance with Golden Key Honors and pursued graduate studies in both Piano Performance and Baroque Music, with a concentration in Harpsichord. Following her Master's, she taught music at private and international schools in San Francisco, Chicago, and Seoul, while also serving local churches as a church musician. In 2017, she moved to Southern California to pursue her Doctorate in Church Music (D.C.M.), completing her dissertation on The Theology of Praise: Adopting Theological Training for 21st-Century Church Musicians.

Grace continues to be passionate about classical and choral performance. She mentors and supports young, talented musicians by organizing and leading performance tours that offer them extensive stage experience. In her free time, she enjoys reading by the beach, paddle boarding, hiking, taking day trips with her family, and being silly with her two-year-old dachshund, Luca.
