This year marks the launch of our brand-new Biotechnology and Medical Cohort, created by our science faculty member, Ms. Lindsey Knight. Designed to give students an inside look at the world of healthcare and biotechnology, the program combines classroom learning with hands-on experiences and professional engagement.

Last week, the cohort welcomed a panel of emergency medicine professionals from Hoag Hospital and the Orange County Fire Authority. These physicians, physician assistants, and nurses shared stories from their decades of experience working in patient care and administration. Students got a glimpse into the day in the life of a medical professional before asking more personal questions over lunch, making it an inspiring and insightful experience for this inaugural group.
