On November 15, two Pacifica robots entered the competition field to battle opposing schools at the SoCal Showdown at McBride High School in Long Beach. Our varsity team had committed over 100 hours of build time since the release of this year's game challenge in late May 2025. It was our 3rd competition in the program’s one year history, and the team walked in with a whole new level of confidence and preparedness. The team went 3-0 in the first half of our qualifying matches, and ended the 6 qualifying matches 4-2. Pacifica Robotics finished qualifiers with the highest standing thus far, placing 15th out of the 33 teams. There's much to celebrate with how far the team as come and they return to the drawing board with more vigor than ever for the season ahead.
