Stay Informed: Attend "Coffee with the Head" | May 17

I am excited to personally invite all Pacifica Parents to join me for Coffee with the Head on Friday, May 17 from 8:30 - 10:30 AM. At this gathering—being held at St. Andrew's Church—I will introduce our community to new initiatives we are undertaking to advance the mission of the school. Registration is required through this link by Monday, May 13.

At the coffee, I plan to discuss:
  • Updates on our progress with the Triton Lab
  • Updates on this year’s operational plan
  • Pacifica’s new look for our 10th anniversary 
  • Exciting changes to our approach to formation & culture:
    • The launch of Houses – transitioning color teams
    • Expanded focus on student mentoring and advisories
    • Doubling down on opportunities for the inculcation of grit, courage, independence, and an increased sense of belonging
  • With formation & culture front and center, our new approach to phones during the school day.  
  • Changes to the Pacifica Circle and adding staff members to our team 
I strongly desire for at least one member of every family to attend this important and informative event. Pacifica believes thoughtful planning, prudent execution, and intentional resource development are critical to any non-profit, and we take these processes very seriously. The more of us who are informed and take ownership of the school’s plans for the future, the greater our success will be in forming young people to think and live well. Registration is required through this link.
