Biology is a lens to view the full beauty of the world around us, our place in the world and the God who created it all. Through our studies, we aim to have a deeper appreciation for and understanding of the purposeful connections that exist between all living things.
The Chemical World
Chemistry is the study of matter and its properties. A proper understanding of Chemistry helps us describe and explain our world. From how things grow, to cooking food, cleaning our homes, the systems in our bodies, launching a space shuttle, and monitoring our impact on the world around us, Chemistry is active in almost everything we do.
The Technical World
Our daily lives are increasingly integrated with technology. Our classes give students an opportunity to learn and design in both the physical and digital realms. We aim to give students an understanding that is technical, practical, and, above all, human. Students are challenged to not only know how the technologies around us work, but also what implications it carries for our persons and culture.

Physics provides us with a lense through which to comprehend the physical world of matter and energy. Physics challenges students to look both at everything from the infinitesimal electron to the infinitely complex motion of the heavens. All this wide set of ideas is tied together with mathematical models to show the beautiful patterns of the universe.We strive to make students not only see the scientific facts, but also the beauty and truth in all creation.
